New site Groovecount launches comprehensive social media and music service chart.

For all those who haven’t had enough of celebrity charts, a new website will no doubt become your favourite haunt.

Groovecount.com has just launched itself as a “comprehensive measure of fame” that links social media page views to the usual play counts and followers. The site ranks the top weekly and monthly artists and is updated continuously to provide up to the minute information about all your favourite singers and actors.

It will come as little surprise that in its opening charts, it is that shy and retiring Lady Gaga that has made an instant impact, coming top of the overall fame chart, ahead of much hyped Justin Bieber. She also took the stop spot of the Twitter charts, while being bested by Bieber on Youtube.

In other charts, Michael Jackson leads on Facebook, The Beatles rate highest by playcount on Last.fm and Rihanna landed the number 1 slot as top trending artist in both the weekly and monthly chart. Of UK artists, Coldplay are currently riding high with the Beatles coming up behind thanks to their recent arrival on iTunes.
